About Hafod Nursing Home
Hafod Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 29 people, including younger adults and people over 65 living with dementia. The service operates across two floors in two adjoining buildings, with 25 residents at the time of inspection.
Inspectors found the home environment was poorly maintained with multiple safety concerns. Ceilings, walls, paintwork and flooring were damaged throughout the building and outside areas. Fire safety issues were identified with fire doors and window restrictors, prompting a referral to West Midlands Fire Service for a dedicated fire safety visit.
