Grove Park Care Home

Grove Park Care Home provides personal care to 63 residents aged 65 and over across three separate suites in a purpose-built building, with capacity for up to 80 people. One suite specialises in dementia care. During the pandemic, the registered manager took a compassionate approach to supporting residents with dementia who were struggling emotionally, facilitating window visits and purchasing a pod to enable contact with family. Visitor risk assessments were rigorous, with temperature checks and PPE packs provided on arrival.

Each suite has a dedicated wellbeing staff member who ensures residents receive meaningful occupation, including those isolating in their rooms. The management team provided strong support to staff through regular supervision and wellbeing checks. Additional staff were recruited to maintain staffing levels and ensure continuity of care.
