About Grove Park

Grove Park is a nursing home in Brighton and Hove, providing care for older people, including some living with dementia. Details of the most recent CQC assessment are set out below.

Grove Park provides nursing care for older people, including some living with dementia. The assessment followed earlier concerns and a previous breach of regulations, but inspectors found the service had improved and was no longer in breach. Staff managed risks and medicines well, kept the home clean and well-maintained, and were well trained and supported.

People were treated with kindness, involved in decisions about their care, and supported to keep in touch with family and friends. Minor improvements were still needed around person-centred care planning and governance, but overall the CQC found people received good care that protected their rights and made them feel safe.
