About Griffin Lodge

Griffin Lodge is a residential care home in Stockport, offering support to people with learning disabilities and sensory impairment. Full details of the Care Quality Commission's most recent findings are set out below.

Griffin Lodge provides residential care and personal care for up to 12 people with learning disabilities and sensory impairment. At inspection, the home was supporting its full capacity of 12 residents. The service is designed to enable people to live fulfilling lives with control, choice, and independence.

Although the home is larger than typical domestic properties and exceeds current best practice size guidance, this was mitigated by how the service was organized and how staff supported people. Residents received planned, coordinated, person-centred support that was appropriate and inclusive to their needs.
