Greenacres Care Home

This residential care home provides personal care to up to 39 people, including those living with dementia, older people, and people with physical disabilities. The service operates two separate wings with adapted facilities, one specialising in dementia care. At inspection, 31 people were using the service.

Inspectors found significant concerns regarding safety and governance. Risk information was not always comprehensive or up to date, and safety concerns were not addressed quickly enough. Assessment of people's needs and outcomes were not regularly reviewed to ensure they remained appropriate. Staff did not consistently support people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, instead placing unnecessary restrictions that limited their lifestyle and independence. The service lacked a registered manager at the time of inspection, though one had been recruited.
