Goole Hall

Goole Hall provides personal care and accommodation for up to 28 older people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 15 people were using the service. The building has three floors with lift access to all levels. Staff understand how to keep people safe from harm and abuse, and risks to people's safety and wellbeing are identified and managed. Staffing levels are safe and enable timely support. People participate in meaningful activities.

However, medicine administration records did not always support staff in providing medicines when needed. While quality assurance systems have been reviewed and updated, they had not identified all shortfalls found during inspection. Staff were not always sure where to find safeguarding information. Accidents and incidents are monitored to support learning, though systems require further improvement. Recruitment processes support safe staffing, though employment history gaps were not always explored in records.
