Inspectors found the provider had responded robustly after a serious medicines error, improving guidance, checks and staff training, and had effective governance to investigate incidents and complaints.

The home was clean, well maintained, and staff felt supported and safe.

People and relatives spoke positively about the care and staff, and there were good opportunities for feedback. Some shortfalls remained: fluid records did not always show action taken when targets were missed, staff sometimes prioritised paperwork over interaction, and lunchtime experiences needed improvement, with delays and communication gaps around specific meal requests.
