Glynn Court Residential Home in Hampshire is a care home without nursing for up to 31 younger adults and older people, including some living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, finding breaches relating to safe care, staffing, consent, person-centred care and governance. Inspectors identified poor risk and medicines management, infection control concerns, an unsafe environment and inadequate recruitment checks.

Despite this, staff were found to be kind and treated people with dignity, and relatives spoke positively about staff knowledge and communication. However, inspectors noted limited activities, underused dining facilities and care plans lacking personalised detail. The registered manager began addressing issues during the assessment, though governance had not previously identified or resolved concerns effectively.
