Glenmuir House Residential Care Home

Glenmuir House is a residential care home providing personal care and support to older people. Inspectors found the service was performing well overall, with a clean, well-maintained environment, enough staff, and safe medicines management. Risks were managed effectively, and staff supported people in a person-centred way that promoted independence.

Staff were described as kind, well trained and attentive to people's preferences, with residents saying they felt safe and well cared for. However, the CQC found that although governance and oversight had improved, these systems were not yet fully embedded into everyday practice.
