Gibson's Lodge Limited

Gibson's Lodge is a nursing home providing personal care and support to older people, many of whom were living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 29 people were living there, with capacity for up to 53 residents. The registered manager has brought stability to the service following previous concerns, with systems in place to ensure good quality care. Staff felt well supported and enjoyed their roles, which has positively impacted morale after a period of management turnover. The provider had improved their assessing and risk management processes to reduce risks of avoidable harm. People were happy with their care, and the registered manager demonstrated good oversight of the service and understanding of their responsibilities.
