Gatwick Rise

Gatwick Rise is a care home providing support for up to 14 adults with learning disabilities, with 9 people living there at the time of assessment. Inspectors carried out a responsive assessment following earlier concerns and found the previous breaches around safe care, governance and notifications had been resolved. Care plans were detailed, risks were well managed, and incidents were investigated with lessons learned.

Relatives and staff spoke positively about the newly appointed manager and improved communication. Staffing levels were maintained, partly through agency cover, though some relatives noted agency staff knew people less well. People were supported to make choices, enjoyed varied activities, and lived in comfortable, clean surroundings.
