Chaxhill Hall

Chaxhill Hall accommodates up to 36 older people, including those living with dementia, in a single adapted building. At inspection, 30 people were using the service.

The inspection identified shortfalls in medicines management, with medicines not always administered as prescribed and established safety processes not consistently followed by staff. Although no harm had occurred, these gaps in practice put people at risk. The inspector implemented immediate corrective action during the visit and arranged more frequent monitoring of staff practice to ensure correct procedures were followed going forward.
