Gairloch Residential Care Home

Gairloch Residential Care Home accommodates up to 24 people, including those with mental health needs, physical disabilities, or dementia. At inspection, 19 residents were living there.

Staff demonstrated understanding of safeguarding procedures and could identify and report concerns about vulnerable people. The registered manager and provider had established clear processes to protect people from potential abuse, and staff recruitment followed safe practices in line with best practice.

Senior carers had received training to administer medication safely. However, the facility's monitoring of as-required medication required attention.
