Frome Care Village

Frome Care Village provides nursing and residential care for adults, including people living with dementia and mental health conditions, supporting 49 people across two units. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding staffing had become more consistent, medicines were well managed, and the environment was clean and welcoming. Governance had strengthened under a new registered manager, and previous breaches relating to staffing and oversight had been resolved.

Inspectors found staff were kind and caring, and people praised the food and atmosphere. However, some people staying in their rooms said they felt bored, and records did not always show relatives were involved in ongoing care reviews or that end-of-life wishes were documented. Fire safety improvements were largely complete, with some actions still being reviewed.
