Frome Care Village

Frome Care Village provides nursing care and accommodation for up to 60 older people across two buildings. Woodlands offers nursing care in a purpose-built setting, while The Parsonage is an adapted facility for people living with dementia. At inspection, 51 people were residing at the service.

Quality assurance systems were not always effective at identifying concerns or driving improvements. There were insufficient staff on duty at times, and staff were not always appropriately deployed to support people in a timely and person-centred way on the Woodlands unit. This affected waiting times and daily routines for residents.

The provider had failed to implement and sustain improvements across the service.
