Haywood Lodge

Haywood Lodge provides personal care to up to 66 people, primarily older adults with sensory impairment and those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 18 people were using the service.

Inspectors found that safeguarding concerns were not always addressed promptly and risks to people's health and safety were not consistently well managed. Infection control practices and policies were not fully assured, and medicine administration records did not always contain necessary information for safe dispensing. While staff responded in a timely manner when people needed assistance, feedback about staffing levels was mixed.
