Folkestone Care Centre

Folkestone Care Centre provides personal and nursing care to up to 110 older people and people living with dementia across four floors in a purpose-built building. At the time of inspection, 67 people were using the service.

Residents and their families reported being happy at the centre and felt there were sufficient staff to keep them safe. Staff demonstrated understanding of their safeguarding responsibilities. The service had made improvements in medicines management, with risks to people now fully assessed and guidance in place to help staff support residents with their health needs.
