Manor Park Nursing Home

Manor Park Nursing Home accommodates up to 52 people requiring nursing or personal care, with a current population of 45 residents. The service specialises in caring for people living with dementia and is located beside the seafront in a building that has been adapted and extended to meet residents' needs.

People are safe at the home. Staff understand how to recognise and report abuse, and risks to residents are properly assessed and mitigated. Staffing levels are sufficient to meet people's needs, and recruitment processes are safe. Residents receive their medicines safely, and the environment is protected through regular health and safety checks. The service learns from incidents and accidents, sharing findings with staff. While appropriate infection control measures are in place, inspectors observed one occasion where these measures were not being followed.
