Albert House Nursing Home

Albert House provides personal and nursing care for up to 38 people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 30 people were using the service, with accommodation arranged over two floors. All bedrooms are single occupancy with wheelchair accessible en-suite toilets and showers. The home had implemented safe visiting practices, including COVID-19 lateral flow testing for visitors on arrival, temperature checks, and health status confirmation before entry. Visitors were provided with personal protective equipment including aprons, masks and gloves, and supported to put these on. Hand hygiene was encouraged upon entry to the home.
