Falcon House Care Home

Falcon House accommodates up to 46 people across two floors with communal lounges and dining areas on each level. At inspection, 22 people were living at the service. The home was undergoing full refurbishment, which improved overall cleanliness. Staff had received training in personal protective equipment use and COVID-19 infection control procedures, with PPE accessible throughout the home and used in accordance with current guidance. The service had replaced most carpets with laminate flooring to make cleaning easier and reduce contamination risks. During the COVID-19 outbreak, the provider had encouraged window visits for people and their relatives.
