Fairwinds

Fairwinds provides personal and nursing care for up to 24 people living with mental health problems on the outskirts of Rotherham. At inspection, the home was at full capacity. The service had implemented systems to support relatives visiting safely, with clear signage guiding staff on the use of protective personal equipment. Staff received regular COVID-19 and lateral flow tests to identify any potential illness promptly. Risk assessments were in place to protect vulnerable groups, including Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic residents, people with learning disabilities, and people with dementia. People were observed accessing the community safely, demonstrating the home's commitment to maintaining connections outside the service.
