Fairways

Fairways provides personal care for up to 24 older people and those with dementia, currently supporting 19 residents. The service operates from a large, adapted three-storey home with a lift, lounge areas, dining rooms, and outdoor seating space.

Staff did not maintain adequate, complete, and up-to-date person-centred care plans and risk assessments. This created risks that residents' individual needs, preferences, and safety concerns might not be fully understood by all staff members, potentially putting people at harm. Additionally, fire safety measures, security checks, and emergency planning procedures were not adequate, raising concerns about the home's preparedness for potential emergencies.
