About Fairby Grange

Fairby Grange is a residential care home in Kent, providing personal care for people with dementia and other health conditions requiring ongoing support. Further details on how the home is run are set out in the findings below.

Fairby Grange provides personal care and accommodation for up to 27 people, including those with dementia and other health conditions requiring ongoing care. The CQC rated the home Good overall. Inspectors found improvements had been made since a previous breach around governance and risk, including better checks on equipment and stronger oversight systems, though some issues remained with Mental Capacity Act compliance around CCTV use and the medicines recording system, which the provider began addressing straight after the visit.

Inspectors found no concerns that people were unsafe. Staff knew people well, risks were managed, and there were enough staff who felt supported and trained. People and families described staff as kind, competent and attentive, and said the environment was clean, well maintained and being continually improved.
