This care home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 17 older people in a single storey building, with 14 residents at the time of inspection, some living with dementia. The service maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, with domestic assistants ensuring a well-maintained environment throughout the home. PPE stations are located throughout the building with disinfectant hand gel readily available for staff use.

The provider has implemented robust infection control systems to protect residents, staff and visitors. These include comprehensive screening procedures requiring visitors to have negative COVID-19 tests and wear appropriate PPE, an up-to-date infection control policy, and regular environmental audits. Staff receive ongoing training aligned with government guidance, and both residents and staff participate in a regular COVID-19 testing programme.
