Elton Hall Care Home

Elton Hall provides accommodation and nursing or personal care for up to 70 older people and younger people with dementia or mental health needs. During the inspection, inspectors found several examples of good practice. The staff team demonstrated strong collaboration by covering increased absences during a sickness outbreak, minimizing reliance on agency staff and reducing infection transmission risks. Staff were observed correctly wearing and changing personal protective equipment, with proper disposal in clinical waste bins. The service had also established a dedicated zoned area designed to prevent the spread of infection in the event of an outbreak.
