Eighton Lodge Residential Care Home

Eighton Lodge is a care home providing support for up to 47 older people, some living with dementia. At the time of assessment, 36 people were using the service. Inspectors previously found breaches around safe care and governance, but on this assessment found these had been resolved, with clearer risk assessments, better medicines management and stronger oversight.

People and relatives spoke warmly about the kind, attentive staff and the range of activities on offer. There were enough trained staff to meet needs safely, and people were supported to make their own choices. The home was found clean and comfortable, with a working complaints process in place.
