The Highlands

The Highlands accommodates up to 14 adults with acquired brain injuries, offering both permanent and short-stay placements. At the time of inspection, 10 people were using the service, including two on short-break stays. Although registered to provide nursing care, this had not been offered for at least a year.

Staff demonstrated genuine care and commitment to supporting residents. People using the service spoke positively about their experiences, with staff described as attentive and responsive to their needs. The home maintained a welcoming environment where residents felt valued and supported in their daily lives.
