Edgemont House

Edgemont House provides personal care for up to 14 older people, some living with dementia, in an adapted building with individual bedrooms, communal spaces and accessible outdoor areas. At inspection, 13 people were using the service.

People and their relatives reported feeling safe and satisfied with the care provided. However, inspectors identified significant shortfalls in medicines management, staff recruitment procedures and quality assurance systems that placed residents at increased risk of harm. The service's monitoring systems had failed to identify and address these issues.
