The service is organised across four floors with communal areas on each level, including a dedicated memory care floor for people living with dementia. Residents reported feeling safe, with staff able to recognise signs of abuse and report concerns appropriately. Medicines were administered as required, and staff were available to respond to people's needs promptly.

The home supports residents to make choices about their care in the least restrictive way possible. Residents praised the quality of food and appreciated having meal options. Staff demonstrated the skills and knowledge needed to support residents effectively, referring to healthcare professionals when necessary. Inspectors observed staff treating people with respect and dignity throughout the home. Accidents and incidents were properly recorded with appropriate actions taken to reduce risks. During the inspection, an issue with confidential information storage was identified and addressed, with some documents previously kept in unlocked cupboards.
