Eden Place Residential Home

Eden Place is a residential care home providing personal care to 11 people aged 50 and over in one adapted building. People receive planned and co-ordinated person-centred support tailored to their individual needs. Residents were very happy and settled, with staff demonstrating deep knowledge of each person. Safeguarding concerns were handled appropriately and person-centred, while individualised risk management plans ensured risks were well managed. Although adverse events were rare, each was thoroughly analysed to identify learning opportunities. Staffing levels enabled people to pursue a full range of outings and activities according to their wishes. Medicines management was safe and infection control practices were embedded throughout daily routines.
