Eastwood House

Eastwood House is a residential care home providing personal care to 15 people aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 19 residents. Staffing levels presented a concern, with rotas showing shortfalls that were addressed through arranging agency staff as needed. There had been several occasions of low staffing, but staff worked to manage these gaps in the absence of a manager. The newly appointed manager, in post for one week, was already developing a plan to identify and address staffing shortfalls and other concerns. No evidence suggested residents were at risk of harm from staffing levels. The premises are kept clean and staff follow infection control principles and government guidelines.
