The home accommodates up to 69 people across two buildings, with separate units for those living with dementia, people with complex mental health needs, and those requiring general nursing and personal care. At inspection, 64 people were using the service. Staff interactions with residents were pleasant and kind throughout the visit, and people reported feeling safe in the home and with their caregivers. Medicines were generally managed safely and administered as prescribed, though some supply issues were identified that managers were working to resolve with the pharmacy and GP surgery.

Preadmission assessments were in place but inspectors found these needed to be more comprehensive. The provider was recommended to review their preadmission process to ensure assessments adequately captured people's needs before they moved to the home.
