About Dove House

Dove House is a residential care home in Hampshire, providing accommodation and support for people with a learning disability and autistic people. Further details from the Care Quality Commission's most recent inspection are set out below.

The home is a two-storey building with a single-storey extension, patio and garden, recently extensively refurbished. It supports nine people with a learning disability or autistic people, each with their own bedroom, some with ensuite facilities. Communal areas include an art room and multi-sensory room for shared use.

Staff support people to make choices and exercise control over their lives in the least restrictive way possible. Safeguarding systems are in place to protect people from abuse, and staff identify, assess and manage potential risks effectively. The service maintains safe recruitment practices and deploys sufficient staffing levels.

Medicines are managed safely and infection control processes are implemented to protect people's health.
