Dimensions Baily Thomas House Haysoms Drive

Dimensions Baily Thomas House provides accommodation and personal care for up to six people with learning disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, some of whom may also have physical disabilities or limited verbal communication. The service operates primarily as respite care, though at inspection some residents were staying longer term while awaiting alternative accommodation. On the inspection day, five people were using the service. Throughout the year, 32 people use the home flexibly for respite stays, ranging from weekly visits to one-off short periods.

Residents and relatives expressed satisfaction with the service. One relative described it as "a very happy place" and praised the staff's flexibility in meeting individual needs. The newly registered manager demonstrated clear understanding of the service's development needs and had been implementing service development plans, staff training initiatives, and rebuilding the team. Effective quality assurance systems were in place to monitor and improve the quality and safety of care provided.
