Daleside Nursing Home

Daleside Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 43 people, including older people and those living with dementia. Following an earlier assessment that found breaches of legal regulations, the CQC found sufficient improvements had been made and the provider was no longer in breach, though further work was needed to embed changes, particularly around care plans, cleaning routines and staffing levels at busy times.

Feedback from people and families was mixed, with some describing staff as kind and others feeling care was rushed. Inspectors observed kind staff who were often stretched thin, and noted families had not always been consulted about admissions. The provider was working to rebuild trust following recent management changes.
