Currergate Nursing Home

Currergate Nursing Home provides nursing and personal care for up to 47 people, including those living with dementia. At the time of assessment, 41 people lived at the home, and the CQC rated the service Good overall.

Inspectors found staff delivered safe, person-centred care that promoted dignity, choice and independence, with strong links to health professionals and local community groups. Leadership was approachable and open to learning. Some record-keeping around repositioning, fluid monitoring and medicines needed tighter oversight, and a few relatives wanted more involvement in care reviews, but families and residents spoke warmly of kind, attentive staff.
