Alexandra Grange provides personal care for older people and those living with dementia, accommodating up to 54 people in one adapted building. At inspection, 46 people were using the service. The provider managed medicines safely, though some administration processes could be strengthened to reduce reliance on 'as required' medicines. Daily records were not always comprehensive, and the home has been recommended to improve recording of daily observations.

Staff were trained to recognise risks and signs of abuse, with managers assessing and reviewing safety concerns for residents. Staffing levels were adequate, and staff used personal protective equipment appropriately with infection prevention controls in place. Managers maintained systems to monitor the service's operations.
