Inspectors found breaches relating to consent, safe care and treatment, safeguarding and staffing, alongside poor governance, unsafe medicines management and inadequate staff training and recruitment checks.

Despite this, families spoke warmly of caring, attentive staff, and people said they felt safe and well looked after. Relatives felt involved in care planning and confident raising concerns, though some noted restricted choices and a lack of meaningful activities. The CQC has asked the provider for an action plan to address the concerns identified.
