The ground floor home features accessible bedrooms and communal areas, plus a secure garden and outdoor seating. People and their relatives felt safe at the home, and staff had completed safeguarding training and understood how to identify and report abuse.

However, inspectors identified several concerns. Environmental risk assessments lacked sufficient detail to monitor potential hazards, and the registered manager had not conducted regular health and safety audits. While care plans and risk assessments existed, they were not consistently updated when residents' needs changed, such as after hospital discharge. Accidents and incidents were recorded and residents received medical attention when needed, but there was no audit system to identify patterns or learning points. Additionally, medicines management was not always safe, with inconsistencies found in medicines administration records.
