Inspectors rated it Good overall, finding a warm, homely environment where people felt safe, well cared for and encouraged to remain independent. Meals and staff kindness were particularly praised.

Some issues were identified, including fire door faults, missing window restrictors and inconsistent care plan documentation, which the provider began addressing promptly. Governance and audit systems needed strengthening, and relatives suggested more weekend staff would help. Leadership was described as visible and open, with staff confident to raise concerns.
