About Beech Grove

Beech Grove is a residential care home in North Yorkshire, providing personal care and support to people with mental health needs. Further details from the Care Quality Commission's most recent inspection are set out below.

Beech Grove provides residential personal care to up to six people who need mental health support. The service operates from a large detached building with en-suite bedrooms and communal areas spread across three floors. At the time of inspection, all six places were occupied.

Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, using the least restrictive approaches in their best interests. Policies and systems were in place to support this practice. However, documentation was not always completed when required, and inspectors made a recommendation regarding Mental Capacity Act procedures.
