About Crescent House

Crescent House is a residential care home in West Northamptonshire. Details of the most recent CQC findings are set out below.

Crescent House, in West Northamptonshire, provides accommodation and personal care for up to 40 people, including those living with dementia, physical disabilities and sensory impairments. The CQC rated the home Requires Improvement overall, finding kind, caring staff and a calm, well maintained environment, but weaker oversight of risk, staffing deployment and record-keeping.

Leadership and governance also needed improvement, with no registered manager in post and audits not consistently thorough enough to catch risks early. The provider was found in breach of regulations on good governance but responded promptly, strengthening checks and appointing a new manager. People and relatives generally felt safe and well cared for, though some said communication and timeliness of care could be better.
