Crawford Care Home

Crawford Care Home supports up to 11 people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs across three floors. At inspection, 10 people were living at the service. The home demonstrated strong infection prevention and control practices, with the registered manager adhering to current guidance and implementing comprehensive COVID-19 policies. Staff received training in infection control measures including proper use of personal protective equipment, hand hygiene, and pandemic awareness, with the manager assessing their competency to ensure effective implementation. Inspectors observed staff wearing PPE correctly, and people living at the home were comfortable with these safety measures, with some wearing masks when going out. The home had experienced a COVID-19 outbreak during the inspection period.
