Southlands provides accommodation and personal care for up to 48 older people, some living with dementia or physical disabilities. At inspection, 29 people were using the service. The new manager has implemented systems for overseeing and monitoring safety and quality, resulting in improvements across the home. However, work continues regarding staff deployment and activities for residents. The provider is actively recruiting to address these areas. Inspectors identified risks to people's health and safety and ensured records were updated to reflect these concerns.
