Coppice Court Care Home

Coppice Court Care Home provides nursing and personal care for people over 65, accommodating up to 54 people in a purpose-built building with two separate units. The ground floor offers nursing care and support for people living with dementia, while the first floor cares for people with physical health nursing needs, many of whom also live with dementia or memory loss. At inspection, 32 people were living in the service.

The home has made significant improvements since its previous inspection, including better medicine practice and records, reduced reliance on agency staff, and improved staff training. Care records and risk assessments now inform person-centred care and support. Quality monitoring systems have been strengthened and are used daily. However, inspectors found the provider had not fully used all quality information to drive improvements, including feedback from staff about staffing levels and analysis of call bell response times.
