Combe Lea Community Resource Centre

Combe Lea Community Resource Centre is a care home providing personal care to up to 30 people, including those over and under 65, people living with dementia and people with physical disabilities. This assessment followed up on previous breaches around fire safety, medicines, consent and governance. The CQC found the provider had made the necessary improvements and was no longer in breach of any regulations.

Inspectors found medicines were managed safely, staffing levels were sufficient, and staff worked well with healthcare professionals. Mental capacity assessments had improved, though documentation consistency was still being addressed. Relatives spoke highly of the care, describing staff as approachable and praising the food, activities and overall quality of life provided.
