Collyhurst provides personal care and accommodation to older people across 34 registered beds, with 30 bedrooms spread over three floors in the main house and four additional bedrooms in a bungalow annex. The home has dining areas, kitchenettes, and a communal lounge on the ground floor. At the time of inspection, 29 people lived at the home.

Inspectors identified risks to people's health, though records did not consistently show how these risks had been assessed and managed. While staff recorded accidents and incidents in individual care plans, investigations into causes and actions to prevent future occurrences were very limited. This meant the home lacked clear documentation of how it was learning from incidents to improve safety.
