The Old Rectory Care Home

The Old Rectory accommodates up to 23 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 16 residents were living at the home. People are protected from infection risks and the service maintains high standards of cleanliness. Personal protective equipment is readily available to staff, who follow current guidance. Inspectors found that people with confirmed COVID-19 were being cared for in accordance with regulations and their rights were being protected. The provider has been asked to improve PPE disposal procedures to better align with their waste disposal policy and further minimise infection spread.
