Colbury House

Colbury House provides nursing and personal care to up to 58 people, including older adults and those living with dementia. At inspection, 47 residents were using the service, which operates from an adapted two-storey building in a secluded setting with shared living spaces and accessible outdoor areas.

People felt safe at the home and relatives were assured of their wellbeing. The service had systems in place to protect residents from abuse, with staff demonstrating awareness of how to identify, prevent and report concerns. Staffing levels were adequate to maintain safety, with safe recruitment practices in operation and contingency plans established for foreseeable situations.
