Cockington House

Cockington House provides personal care for up to six people living with a learning disability in a two-floor residential home with communal living spaces. At the time of inspection, four people were using the service. Staff treated people with respect, dignity and privacy, and were observed to be caring. However, care was not always person-centred, and staffing levels were not consistently adequate to ensure people received appropriate support. While staff supported people in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests, people were not supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives.
