Brocklehurst Nursing Home

Brocklehurst Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 43 people, predominantly older adults, some living with dementia. At inspection, 41 people were using the service. The home is arranged across four units on two floors, with each unit featuring its own kitchenette and small lounge, while the ground floor offers a large communal lounge and dining area.

People received their medicines as prescribed. However, some communal areas were not consistently clean, and inspectors recommended reviewing the cleaning schedules. A recommendation was also made regarding guidance for as required medicines and topical creams.
